Over the past two years, we’ve reached some wonderful milestones, from our first townhouse rental in Evergreen, CO to buying our first home in Conifer, Colorado. We’re so thankful for your love and support as we celebrate our next big adventure: getting married!

In October 2022, Christina had plans to move to Tahoe for the winter while Alex's plans were literally and metaphorically up in the air at that moment with his flying career, until life had a way of bringing them together. After some online chatting, Christina decided to meet this guy Alex at a skatepark. She had no expectations for meeting this guy since she was planning to move to Tahoe soon, but there were enough green flags on paper that she had to see it through to meet at least once.

Well, it took one day of meeting to become inseparable. They continued to make plans to see each other the rest of the week following. They went from a beer date to a sushi date, and then finally to a fine dining restaurant sipping espresso martinis and closing down the place because they didn’t want the conversation to end! They hugged goodbye in the parking lot and Christina was off on her road trip to Tahoe a couple of days later.

Even after a wonderful week of dates, Christina had already locked down a place in Tahoe and was sticking to her plans to move for the winter. She felt the connection was special but also knew that if Alex were meant to be in her life, this wouldn’t be the end of the trail for them.

Turns out, Alex used those flight benefits and visited Christina in Tahoe, and after a short three months, she was right back in Colorado knowing both of them were exactly where they were meant to be.

Rewind back to that first sushi date, one of their shared visions they spoke about in the midst of dream goals, and ambitions was having a house in the woods with some farm animals. They also talked about how cool it would be if you were to get married on your own property... At the time, they did not know they were making a hypothetical on their own story together.

Well… Christina is still convincing Alex to get some goats but they are overjoyed to be together today sharing their favorite milestone yet; getting married in their little slice of the woods with their pup, chickens, and favorite people.

We both strive to keep that zest for life through our shared love for adventures! With a little resilience and always holding on to our playful hearts, we aspire to continue growing together, in the years to come through all of life’s highs and lows.
